Thank you for all your responses to yesterday's post and the start of our new journey on the Farmer's Wife Sampler quilt.
Last night I managed to complete another block, Block 5 Bat Wing, and am back to feeling the rush of starting a new project. In past projects I have usually recorded the number of pieces in each block, but for most of these I think I can count them on my hands.

    Beautiful colours and so different from your Dear Jane. You are so right...these blocks will present no challenge. I actually made the 30's version a few years back...100 blocks, 50 with EPP. It was overwhelming for me at times even though I learned a lot. I had so much to learn, sigh.

    Beautiful colours. I have the Farmers wife sampler books but has to finish my Dear Jane quilt before starting a new prosject. Only two more blocks to go for the center. Enjoy your new peoject. I will follow along.
